These foods are great source of nutrients and are essential for a healthy diet. In every meal fruit and vegetables should be part of it. These foods can help protect the body against developing certain types of cancer and other disease. The antioxidants and other nutrients present in these foods are very useful in keeping the body healthy.  Choose dark leafy green vegetables because it is rich in nutrients such as magnesium, potassium, zinc, calcium and vitamin A, C, E, and K. It helps strengthen the respiratory system and the blood. Most Americans lack this diet because they are not aware on the benefits of these foods.

Sweet vegetables are an excellent way to add healthy sweetness to the meal and reduce the cravings for other sweets. In this way the body can get the right amount of sweet that the body need. Avoid fruit juices that contain ten teaspoons of sugar per cup. Fried veggies should be avoided since it contains unhealthy fat and extra calories that the body don’t need. Having fruit in the diet can provide the body enough natural sugar, vitamins, antioxidants and fiber that the body requires. Eating the right amount of food that is rich in carbohydrates, fiber, calories and fats will keep the body on the go. Exercises will also help the body become fit and strong. The best formula for a longer life is exercising plus healthy diet.
